Embracing Equality And Inclusivity At Impulse Digital

In celebration of Pride Month, our organization’s HR arranged an “Embracing Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace” session to actively show support and shape our understanding of the LGBTQ+ community. The session was well-guided, meticulously planned, and flawlessly executed. It comprehensively introduced the LGBTQ+ community, increasing awareness about its diverse aspects. As part of the session, we also engaged in a game called “Guess the LGBTQ+ Celebrity/Popular Personality,” which showcased the significant contributions made by individuals from the LGBTQ+ community in various fields.

The session proved to be immensely helpful in teaching us small but significant changes, such as using appropriate and respectful language when addressing colleagues who belong to the LGBTQ+ community. Moreover, it opened our eyes to a new world where we take pride in accepting individuals from different races, religions, sexual orientations, and more, leaving no place for discrimination or injustice.

One particularly impressive moment during the session was when our CEO, Mr. Adwait Joshi, was asked about what led him to make our organization inclusive and employ individuals from the LGBTQ+ community.

He eloquently stated that he firmly believes in eliminating discrimination within our organization, as it does not align with the employee’s creativity and hard work. He emphasized that in today’s modern world, holding onto outdated stereotypes and mentalities would only create barriers within the digital realm to which we belong. His vision is cultivating a thriving advertising agency that offers its employees the best and most positive working environment.
